Use of the transportdata.be website is subject to the terms of use set out hereinafter.

You will be deemed to be aware of these and to accept the terms of use without reservation.

Intellectual property rights

The website and the data it contains are protected by copyright law and database law (Code of Economic Law of 28/02/2013). The intellectual property rights on this website belong to the Belgian ITS Steering Committee. This Steering Committee unites the Federal and Regional administrations involved in the implementation of intelligent transport systems. The secretariat has been assigned to the Federal Public Service for Mobility and Transport (its@mobilit.fgov.be).

 The intellectual property rights for each source belong to the stated partner.

Prohibition

The data listed on this website, aside from the cases stated above, may not be in any event:

·         copied or reproduced in an excessive manner

·         adapted by any means whatsoever so as to impact upon their veracity

·         distributed or shared with third parties with a view to commercial purposes

·         used for illegal purposes

Liability

The data on Transportdata.be has no legal value whatsoever and it is made available to you solely as information.

The Belgian ITS Steering Committee, the National Geographic Institute and data owners are in no way liable to pay compensation owing to direct or indirect damages (including loss of profits) incurred through your use of this website and its data.

Warranty

Belgian ITS Steering Committee, the National Geographic Institute and data owners offer no warranty for the data or for the Transportdata.be website. We offer the website and data in its available form (“as is”), including any errors. We cannot guarantee that the data will be correct or up to date, or that the website will be continually available.

Should you identify any inaccuracies in the data made available via the website or have any questions about it, you can contact the data owner or the website operator. The NGI and its partners will make the greatest possible efforts to correct any inaccuracies as soon as possible.

Sanctions

Should you infringe upon one of the stipulations of these general terms of use, particularly those concerning intellectual property rights and prohibitions, the Belgian ITS Steering Committee, the NGI and, where applicable, the data owners will immediately report this to the police and initiate criminal proceedings if necessary.

Disputes

These terms of use and any disputes arising from this website and the data it contains are subject to Belgian law. Only the courts of Brussels shall have jurisdiction in such an event.
