How does the Belgian NAP ITS (Tranportdata.be) compare to other European or local "data initiatives"?

The NAP ITS is collaborating with the three Belgian regional data portals. These are the portals datastore.brussels, Datavindplaats and Open Data Wallonie Bruxelles (ODWB). In the future we will harvest these portals in order to display the mobility datasets and services registered on the regional portals directly on the NAP ITS. In this way, local authorities will only need to register their data on one portal ("once-only" principle).

If your organization has data for the NAP that is already registered on another portal (own portal or portal hosted by a third party), you can contact the NAP Helpdesk (contact@transportdata.be) and we can look into the cooperation possibilities with this portal.

In turn, the NAP ITS itself will be harvested in the future as part of a European mobility access point. At the same time, as a "data catalog," the NAP ITS will become part of the various data spaces now under development.
