Federal Climate Change Service

The Federal Climate Change Service plays a central, constructive and proactive role in international, European, national and federal policy. It is recognised for its competence in the relevant national and international forums. Its efforts are focused on fulfilling Belgium's international commitments in the context of the Paris Agreement and on preventing climate change in an environmentally friendly manner.

The department's activities are articulated in a long-term vision, in which the 3 pillars of sustainable development are taken into account in a balanced way. To this end, the department aims to integrate climate policy objectives into all relevant policy areas, at all levels and in close cooperation with all other actors.
