Static dataset – Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (DATEX II format)
Description This dataset provides a static description of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in DATEX II format. It enables precise identification of charging stations along with their main technical and operational characteristics. The information included covers in particular:
Geographical location of stations (coordinates, address) Site and operator identification Number of charging points available Connector types and standards (e.g. Type 2, CCS, CHAdeMO) Nominal power of charging points
This is a static dataset: it describes the structural characteristics of the infrastructure and does not include real-time information such as availability or operational status.
This dataset contributes to the implementation of Article 20 of the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR), which requires Member States to ensure the accessibility, exchange, and reuse of data related to alternative fuel infrastructure, including electric vehicle recharging points. It supports the provision of high-quality data on the location and characteristics of publicly accessible recharging stations.
